Community buses are provided and maintained by us for use by non-profit organisations or groups in the municipality such as scouts and guides, schools and church groups. Buses are made available to enable these groups to conduct their activities.
Council has five buses available 24 hours per day, 52 weeks per year. These are as follows:
- three buses — 12 seater (driver and 11 passengers);
- one bus — 12 seater (driver and 11 passengers) sponsored by Bendigo Bank; and
- one bus — nine seater with wheelchair hoist and space for two wheelchairs.
